So I think David is finally growing. Woohoo! For a while, I was quite worried that he would be 2 and a half feet tall for the rest of his life. He has been eating like a teenager for the past few days though. Just the other day he had 3 bowls of oatmeal in one sitting. Last night he ate almost half of my steak. Just now he had 2 bowls of puffs, a fruit strip, and the majority of an apple. All day long he wants to eat. I have trouble keeping the house stocked with food now. What I am going to do when I have 2 teenage boys? Yikes! Their college fund may end up going to the grocery bill :) David has also been complaining of his legs hurting. I have not so fond memories of those growing pains myself. Not very fun times.
Henry on the other hand is only 4 inches shorter than his brother. He is a long and lean boy. That has probably slowed down this week since he isn't eating much with his illnesses. Oh, except to wake me up in the middle of the night to eat. We tried getting him to sleep through the night and almost had it until we went on vacation and now the RSV. As soon as he is well, we're going to give it another go. Mama needs her beauty sleep. Ha!
Henry is almost 8 months and on the verge of crawling. He is up on all fours and rocking or just manages to get himself where he needs to go by pushing himself backwards or by scooting. I originally thought that he would want to get moving to keep up with David, but it might actually be to get AWAY from him. David is already trying to rough house with his little bro and Henry can only take so much. I can already see the fighting in the backseat of the car or chasing each other around the house. It will be much too soon.
